NGAUS Membership Team Adds Staff

Washington Report

(June 27, 2017) As part of its effort to grow membership and improve member experience, NGAUS has hired an experienced data and technology professional from upstate New York as its database manager.

Alex Lord, a graduate of Kenyon College, began his career building and maintaining databases for the New York State Department of Health. Since August 2014, he has worked in federal technology consulting, interacting with a variety of database systems.

“I was originally drawn to NGAUS by the opportunity to provide assistance in solving some of the organization’s database-related needs,” Lord said.  “My decision to join was affirmed upon meeting the membership team who are deeply committed to their duties.”

As the organization’s database manager, Lord will develop membership analytics and participate in technological integrations.

“I believe the National Guard plays an integral role in providing safety and security to our country both domestically and abroad,” he said. “I am excited to join NGAUS to support the well-being of National Guard members.”
