Q: Why did NGAUS decide to cancel the 142nd General Conference & Exhibition in Boston, Massachusetts?
A: Due to concerns over the health and safety of attendees and participants, the NGAUS board of directors has accepted the host state’s recommendation to cancel the 142nd General Conference & Exhibition.
Q: What is a virtual conference?
A: A virtual conference is an online event designed for the NGAUS community that can be attended from the comfort of your home. The conference will provide a safe and entertaining experience.
Q: I have registered, now what?
A: We will be sending you correspondence leading up to the conference on what to expect. Two weeks prior to the conference you will receive a link to the virtual conference platform where you will have the opportunity to discover the many aspects of the conference before it begins.
Q: I am a resolutions delegate or nominations delegate, how do I vote?
A: All delegates will be contacted directly in the near future with instructions regarding the virtual process and voting capabilities.
Q: Do I have to attend the entire conference?
A: The virtual conference will bring the experience of an in-person conference to your personal computer, so just like an in-person conference, you have the freedom to choose what you attend. But attending the event in its entirety—the Roll call of states and speaker sessions—will help you to get the most out of the experience.
Q: I registered for the conference but am no longer able to attend. Can I get a refund for registering?
A: All registrations paid to attend the 142nd General Conference, A Virtual Experience are nonrefundable.
