NGAUS Hire Brings Graphics Background

Washington Report

(February 27, 2018) NGAUS has hired an experienced graphic designer as its marketing-communications coordinator. Cheyenne Arnold, a graduate of George Mason University with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design and a minor in web design, has been designing professionally since 2015. She received associate degrees in fine arts and business administration from Northern Virginia Community College.

The association took advantage of her skills even before she came to the National Guard Memorial.

“Before joining NGAUS, I already had a relationship with the marketing department designing ads and membership collateral,” Arnold said. “After hearing of the availability in the marketing department, I was eager to apply knowing that the staff was great to work with and that there were so many opportunities available.”

Recently, Arnold worked as a graphic designer at Northern Virginia Community College in the marketing and communications department where she created marketing collateral for the various college departments and programs.

As the organization’s marketing communications coordinator, Arnold will increase awareness of NGAUS programs through marketing efforts.
